Lake Doster Men’s Golf Association
The primary objective of the Lake Doster Men’s Golf Association is to promote and encourage competitive golf programs, to provide golfing contacts among its members and to provide golf handicaps to implement such programs.
The LDMGA will sponsor 11 Saturday events, 6 two-day events and 7 mixed events during the golf season. In addition, they conduct a weekly Tuesday league for 16 weeks of the season, a weekly Wednesday morning league for “seasoned” golfers and a Friday evening couples league.
The dues for LDMGA are $50 and $20 for the Tuesday league. You must have a golf membership to the Lake Doster Golf Club to join the LDMGA.
Prior to April 15, dues may be sent to Marlin Kleckner, 126 S. Lake Doster Dr., Plainwell, MI 49080. After April 15, please send dues to Jerry Bray, 26 Eagle Greens Ct., Plainwell, MI 49080.
Lake Doster Ladies Golf Association
The LDLGA has objectives similar to the LDMGA.
They sponsor an 18-hole Tuesday league and a 9-hole Thursday league. In addition to co-sponsoring the mixed events, they conduct 7 tournaments for ladies during the season. Dues are $65; Tuesday league fee, $10; and Thursday league fee, $10. Checks for membership should be mailed to the Treasurer at 93 South Lake Doster Dr., Plainwell, MI 49080.
